Remove asparagus woody ends. It will naturally snap where it starts to get tough.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat (the butter shouldn't be brown). Add the garlic and stir about 30 s.
Add the asparagus. Cover and cook, stirring occasionally, about 6-8 min. (depending on their size).
Season the salmon with salt and pepper. Cook with asparagus about a few minutes on each side.
Sprinkle asparagus with Parmesan (optional).
Serve with sweet potatoes. Drizzle with oil, season with salt and pepper. Bake 200 C temp. about 25-30 min.
