Preheat oven to 180 C temp. Grease 22 cm. round cake tin, line the bottom with parchment paper.
In a medium bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In a big bowl, using the electric mixer, lightly whisk eggs, sugar and vanilla extract.
Add the ricotta, zest of lemon, lemon juice. Whisk until combined.
Add melted butter and whisk until combined.
Carefully incorporate the berries into the batter.
Pour the batter into a cake tin. Put some berries on the cake. Bake about 45-50 min.
