Ingredientai
  • 500 g chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp butter or ghee for cooking
Marinade
  • 3 tbsp greek yogurt
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • pinch of salt
Sauce
  • 500 ml tomato sauce (tomato passata)
  • 200 ml low-fat cream (I used oat cream)
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, minced
  • 3 tbsp butter or ghee
  • 1 tsp garam masala
  • 1/2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
  • fresh coriander or parsley for garnishing
Gaminimas
  1. Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces. In the bowl, add all marinade ingredients, mix well. Keep in the fridge for at least 30 min.

  2. Heat the butter in a pan. Add the chicken and cook until soften. Set aside and transfer to the bowl.

  3. Heat the butter in a pan. Add the onion and saute about 4 min. Add the garlic, ginger, spices and cook about 30 s.

  4. Pour the tomato sauce. Simmer about 5 min. Then add the cream, chicken, butter, season with salt and simmer about 8 min.

  5. Add the lemon juice. Garnish with coriander or parsley.
